Event Description: Celebrate collaboration and commitment to the State of Michigan at the Midwest Technology Leaders Premier Awards and Networking Reception. The reception will bring together CIOs and leaders in business, government, academics and a who’s who of the Michigan community for a night of high profile networking. The evening will honor the recipients of the Midwest Collaboration Award and the Corporate Commitment to Michigan Awards. The Midwest Collaboration Award recognizes one corporate partnership that has made an impact on the community. The Corporate Commitment to Michigan Awards gives tribute to three individuals who have actively participated in community relations, organizations and other philanthropic activities to promote a healthy functioning Michigan. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Michigan Council for Women in Technology Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to inspiring and assisting girls and women in Michigan to pursue education and careers in technology by providing educational programs and scholarships.
